This week, we’re taking you behind the scenes of Guitar Summit 2026 — Europe’s biggest guitar show, once again held at the stunning Rosengarten in Mannheim!
Over three incredible days, hundreds of guitar enthusiasts, musicians and industry professionals stopped by the BluGuitar booth, making it one of the busiest and most vibrant booths at the entire show.
And this Guitar Summit was a very special one for us: we officially launched AMPX! After years of development, our long-awaited flagship is finally entering production, with the first units set to ship very soon.
Thomas gave numerous AMPX demonstrations across several stages throughout the show, including a very special performance with Greg Koch on the big stage — culminating in an unforgettable Friday night concert in the Mozartsaal. Thomas also performed alongside many of the BluGuitar artists on our own stage.
At the BluGuitar booth, visitors had the opportunity to get hands-on with AMPX at our dedicated test station, while also checking out the AMP1 Mercury Edition and AMP1 Iridium Edition at our four demo stations. The response was incredible, and the energy throughout the entire show was amazing.
Thomas also had the chance to reconnect with countless musicians, friends and industry colleagues — including a very special interview with legendary bassist Darryl Jones, known for his work with the Rolling Stones, Sting and Miles Davis.
Our entire BluGuitar team was on site, sharing the excitement, meeting the community and, of course, talking about our shared passion for great tone.
We also captured plenty of photos and videos throughout the show, featuring some of our great friends and true icons of the music world — including Biréli Lagrène, Ace from Skunk Anansie, Trev Wilkinson, Steven Fryette and many more.
Join us for an exclusive look back at Guitar Summit 2026, the latest AMPX updates, highlights from the show, and plenty of behind-the-scenes stories with Thomas and the entire BluGuitar team.
