On Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, Amarin Productions hosted an exclusive drum clinic with Dirk Verbeuren in Burbank, California, streamed live worldwide. We’re proud to present this special performance of “Sanguine Verses (…of Extirpation)” by Aborted from that unforgettable event.
Originally released on Aborted’s landmark 2003 album Goremageddon: The Saw and the Carnage Done. Dirk Verbeuren also performed the drums on the album.
Captured in an intimate clinic setting, this performance gives fans and drummers alike a rare opportunity to watch Dirk revisit a piece of Aborted history that he helped create. From the extreme speed and precision to the constantly shifting rhythmic structures, “Sanguine Verses” showcases the technical control, endurance, and musicality that made Dirk’s work on Goremageddon so influential within extreme metal.
