He admires the great drumming legends and he\u2019s covered a ton of classic jazz and big band tunes over the past few years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s cool and all, but can you play \u2018Caravan\u2019?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The movie Whiplash came out in 2014, and it reminded the rest of the world how awesome drumming is. It featured the song \u201cCaravan\u201d (Juan Tizol\/Duke Ellington), which became a recurring piece for the protagonist.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, whenever a song enters pop culture, people start requesting that song. And as a drummer \u2013 especially as a jazz drummer \u2013 you bet Greyson has been asked to play it. It\u2019s like asking a metal guitarist to shred the solo from Dragonforce\u2019s \u201cThrough The Fire And Flames\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>In the video above, Greyson nails the song and goes into an extended drum solo with killer technique and dynamics, blazing fast hands, and confidence.<\/p>\n<p>(P.S.
