Roy Vogt’s career spans over forty years across punk, funk, country, and hyper jazz. He was the first person ever to receive a Master’s degree in Electric Bass Performance from the University of Miami, and he has performed or recorded with icons like Victor Wooten, Larry Coryell, Chet Atkins, Dickey Betts, Tony Joe White, and Charlie Daniels. As Bass Professor at Belmont University since 1983, he has shaped generations of world-class musicians.
